A family member has passed away. What should I do?

Step 1:
Breathe

You don't have to do it alone. At times like this, it's normal to feel confused, rushed, or afraid of making a mistake.

The most important thing is that you don't go through this process alone. We are here to support you from the very first call.

Step 2:
Call us

It is the most important step.

We will tell you what to do, what documents you need, and coordinate everything to avoid complications or delays, so you don't have to figure it out on your own. We will guide you according to your specific case.

Step 3:
Documentation

You don't need to gather everything right away.

We will tell you what documentation applies in your case and guide you step by step. The documents and steps to follow may vary depending on where the death occurred.

Step 4:
Go to the funeral home

Our concierge will accompany you and help you organize the service. It is important to bring a change of clothes belonging to your loved one who has passed away.

When you arrive at the funeral home, we take care of every detail so you can focus on what's important: saying goodbye to your loved one.

Step 5:
Subsequent procedures

After death, several legal and administrative procedures must be completed. Some can be handled immediately, while others can be dealt with in the following days.

In the guide, you will find out what they are and when to do them.

Step 6:
Emotional support

After the service, the process continues.

Grieving takes time, listening, and safe spaces. In the guide, you will find support options to help you navigate this process with greater peace of mind.

One step at a time

This process does not have to be resolved today, nor does it have to be done alone. Each step exists to give you clarity, support, and encouragement.

We are here to support you, today and in the future.

How much does a prepaid funeral plan cost?

In Puebla, we offer Future Funeral Plans starting at $1,000 MXN per month, with significant discounts for cash payments.

What exactly does a prepaid funeral plan include?

Collection, preparation, wake in climate-controlled chapels, eco-friendly cremation or burial (niche/plot/mausoleum), digital tributes, and thanatological support.

How does a prepaid funeral plan work?

Sign up today, lock in the price, choose cremation or burial, and decide on your payment method (cash or installments). When the time comes, we activate everything 24/7: transportation, paperwork, and ceremony, without any stress for your family.

What are the benefits of purchasing a prepaid funeral plan?

Financial and peace of mind benefits: you avoid making hasty decisions in times of grief and can plan calmly. Financial and emotional peace of mind, informed decisions, transparent costs, access to modern facilities (chapels, green areas, cafeteria, flower shop), our own crematorium, and over 45 years of experience.

Can I pay for my plan in installments?

Yes. We offer affordable monthly payments and even deferred cash payments (in Tehuacán, up to four installments), with transparent costs and rates locked in for your funeral plan.

What is the difference between cremation and burial?

We understand that this is a sensitive decision. Cremation reduces environmental impact and makes it easier to store ashes, while burial allows you to visit the grave in family plots. We have funeral parks in Puebla and Tehuacán and can help you choose the option that best reflects your wishes.

What documents do I need to sign up for an immediate service?

1) Medical death certificate issued by a doctor; in cases of unexpected death with violent circumstances, the SEMEFO release form issued by the Prosecutor's Office or the Public Ministry; 2) Birth certificate of the deceased; 3) INE and CURP of the deceased; 4) Marriage certificate, if applicable; 5) INE or official identification of the person carrying out the procedure; 6) Proof of address of the responsible family member; 7) And, if you have social security, your contract number.

Is it safe to purchase a funeral plan online?

Yes, the process is 100% secure and transparent. We provide advice via WhatsApp, digital document delivery, electronic signatures, secure payments, and immediate confirmation. In addition, we offer free bereavement counseling and support from a family counselor.

Are funeral services tax deductible?

They may be deductible in accordance with current tax regulations and with CFDI invoicing. We will guide you through the requirements; for your specific case, consult your tax advisor.

What happens if I move to another city?

Your Future Funeral Plan remains valid. We will simply update your details and advise you on your options: maintaining your coverage for use in Puebla or Tehuacán, coordinating transfers when necessary, or transferring the plan to a family member residing in the area.

Can I transfer my plan to a family member?

Yes. Our plans are 100% transferable. We manage the change of policyholder upon request by the policyholder, with official identification and beneficiary details; our team updates the contract in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions of your funeral plan.

How does the free thanatological service work?

It is professional emotional support provided free of charge to the bereaved and their family before, during, and after the service by our thanatologist. You can receive it in person or remotely (phone, WhatsApp, Zoom).

What does an immediate funeral service include and what does it not include?

Our services are comprehensive; we explain what is included and the options available according to your needs. Included: transfer of the body, basic preparation, coffin/urn according to type, wake room, advice, and essential paperwork. Options: special ceremonies, floral arrangements, out-of-town transfers, religious services, personalized tributes.
